 Morgan Ranney – Instructor

Morgan Ranney began dancing at the age of 2, in her hometown, Columbus, Ohio. Here she trained with Columbus City Ballet School and Conservatory, under the direction of ShirLee Wu, and Infusion Dance under the direction of Shane Carpenter. She is a recent graduate from the University of Arizona, where she earned her BFA in dance, along with a minor in sports nutrition. While at UofA, she had the opportunity to perform masterworks by George Balanchine and Frank Chaves.

Upon graduation, Morgan began dancing with Central Illinois Ballet for their 2023-2024 season. Here she had the pleasure of performing lead roles “Clara” from The Nutcracker, and “Johanna” from Sweeney Todd, a CIB original. Throughout her years in college and as a postgraduate, Morgan has found her love for teaching and choreographing! She has taught styles such as ballet, pointe, contemporary, jazz, musical theatre, and many more.

Morgan is excited to start her new position as a company member at Dance Kaleidoscope and spread her passion for dance with the dancers at Indy Dance Academy.
