Indy Dance Academy offers your dancer the opportunity to participate in a quick paced encouraging environment where dancers will learn and expand upon their technique and choreography in many styles of dance including Hip Hop, Musical Theatre, Ballet and Jazz. Dancers, ages 6-18, levels beginner- advanced are welcome! Dancers must be 6 years old by 11/7/20 in order to participate.

It’s not too late to audition for our Showcase Production! Make-Up Auditions will be held on Friday, January 10, 2020 from 6:00-7:00pm at Indy Dance Academy.

What is Showcase?

Showcase Production Dance is a fun opportunity to have additional performance and stage time for dancers, ages 6-18, at the 2020 Recital. This opportunity for our dancers is a step up from the regular classes offered here at Indy Dance Academy.  For some dancers, this is their first experience in a “dance team” rehearsal setting.  The dancers rehearse and learn choreography to be included in the 10 to 15-minute production at the opening of each act of the Recital. We wish this to be a positive, motivating experience for your dancer, particularly if they have an interest in joining the Indy Dance Academy Team or Company in the future.

]]> Calling all Dancers! Indy Dance Academy is holding auditions for our Showcase Production Dance on Dec. 13th!

Showcase is a fun opportunity for IDA dancers ages 6*-18 to have additional performance and stage time for your dancer at the 2020 Recital.
* Dancers must be age 6 by 1/1/2020 to be eligible to audition.

Participants will rehearse and learn choreography to be included in the 10 to 15-minute production at the opening of each act of the Recital. We wish this to be a positive, motivating experience for your dancer, particularly if they have an interest in joining the Indy Dance Academy Team or Company in the future.

Email Dance Director, Stefanie Allen at stefanie@indydanceacademy.com for showcase information including cost, rehearsal schedule, etc. and to reserve a spot for our dancer on audition day.

Audition Check-in begins at 5:45pm on Friday, December 13th. Auditions are held from 6:00-7:00pm.

Come out and join the Indy Dance Academy Energy while helping our community at Dance For a Cause: A FREE Hip Hop Workshop!

Event Details: 
Saturday, November 2, 2019 from 5:00-7:00pm (doors open at 4:45pm). Girls and boys ages 6-18 years old are welcome! Invite your friends and family! This is a Free Event with your donation of non-perishable food or personal hygiene items for Nora Elementary School.

What can I bring to the event?
Please donate non-perishable items in boxes, plastic or cans such as, peanut butter and jelly/preserves, canned meats like tuna & chicken, 100% fruit juices, heat & serve meals like Ravioli & soups, and kid-friendly items like macaroni, cereal & applesauce/fruit cups. Personal Hygiene items (see list below) may also be donated

  • Dental care items: toothbrushes, toothpaste, floss, mouthwash, etc.
  • Hair care items: shampoo, conditioner, comb, hair ties, clips, barrettes, etc.
  • Band-Aids.
  • Tissues.
  • Hand wipes/anti-bacterial cleanser.
  • Lotion.
  • Bar soap/body wash.
  • Deodorant.
