About IDA

Having been part of the IDA family for over twelve years, some of our best friends and memories have come via IDA. The guidance, structure and creative expression has proven invaluable to our daughters success in not only dance but in their personal growth overall. Truly a joy to watch the dancers and studio get better year after year. 10/10

Indy Dance Academy is one of my favorite places to go every week. I’ve made so many friends, and I’ve learned so much at dance. IDA has taught me to be confident, to have good posture, and to be a better person. I love the staff because they’re so friendly and have taught me so much. Being at IDA has been such a positive experience, and I’m really grateful for all the friendships and memories I’ve made.

I think dance is the greatest thing in the world! It makes me more confident, and I've met some of my best friends at IDA!

IDA has taught our daughter incredible time-management skills as she balances school, practice, and performances with confidence. She’s grown so much through the discipline and dedication dance requires. Most importantly, she’s built beautiful friendships that make the studio feel like a second home.

Indy Dance Academy has been a wonderful studio where we’ve seen our daughter grow both as a dancer and a person. She started 6 years ago at IDA and has never looked back. The talented IDA staff teaches enduring values such as teamwork, respect, passion and so much more. The instructors are great role models and work tirelessly supporting the dancers. The entire IDA community is one large family, and it has been a terrific experience for all of us… one that without question will help pave the way for our daughter’s future. Thank you, IDA, for the dedication, patience and encouragement you bring to these dancers.

We were so blessed to find IDA with a class offered at Primrose. My then 4 year old fell in love with the instructor and that led us to her first creative movement class at IDA which connected her to other adorable dancing “bumblebees” who are now some of her best friends. From the recreational classes, to showcase, and currently part of the competitive team, we are so thankful for our IDA family. I knew she had found her “thing” when at 8 she said, “I get to express my big feelings in a way to make others smile”. Seeing her confidence grow as well as the expression of creativity in movement along with time management, and teamwork are skills we as parents all aim to inspire. The owner, director, and staff are terrific role models that help to nurture our youth. I am beyond thankful!

Indy Dance Academy is our home away from home. We have been part of this dance family for over 10 years now and would not pick any other dance studio to be a part of. The staff are professional, teach proper technique and truly care about the dancers! Best studio ever!
