Megan Quiring is originally from Fort Wayne, Indiana where she grew up training and dancing competitively with Tiffany and Company Studio of Dance. While in high school she began working as a teaching assistant, exploring her own choreography skills, and leading her high school dance team. She won many awards and scholarships during this period, including becoming the first IHSDTA State Champion Soloist. Immediately after high school Megan performed professionally with Paramount Parks. She continued on to Indiana University where she earned her BA in Arts Administration and Dance Performance. While at IU Megan performed and choreographed with the student-run dance company In-Motion for 4 years, serving as a company director for 2 years.
After graduation, Megan moved to Indianapolis where she spent some time teaching at a local studio before joining Motus Dance as a Core Artist and administrator from 2007-2012. She currently performs as a member of the White Rabbit Cabaret’s in-house performance group Hasenpfeffer, and is a judge for the Indiana High School Dance Team Association (IHSDTA). She stays very active with her 2 children, and enjoys providing an after school dance fitness class for her son’s elementary school.
Megan began teaching at Indy Dance Academy in 2015. She currently teaches recreational classes as well as Cardio Hip-Hop for adults at IDA.
